(August 11, 2009) Patrick Rummerfield and Eric Westacott Foundation raises over $30,000 to help young quadriplegic boy.
The Eric Westacott Foundation has raised over $30,000 for physical therapy for 11-year old Alex Malarkey. The funds will allow young Alex to participate in two separate two-week programs at Kennedy Krieger Institute's International Center for Spinal Cord Injury in Baltimore, Maryland, and to receive a Functional Electrical Stimulus (FES) bike and tilt-table. (July 28, 2009) Patrick Rummerfield teams with Eric Westacott Foundation and Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation to help young quadriplegic boy.
The Eric Westacott Foundation announced today that it has teamed with Patrick Rummerfield and the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation to donate the proceeds of the upcoming Golf Classic Tournament to the rehabilitation of 11-year old quadriplegic Alex Malarkey and provide young Alex with a state of the art RT300 Functional Electrical Stimulus (FES) bike and tilt-table donated by Lorraine V and Chris Reyling. (July 7, 2009) Patrick to race Dragboat during Cowtown Dragboat Nationals weekend, July 11.
Patrick has been invited by Extreme Beverage Company, makers of Bookoo and Fire it Up beverages, and by the organizers of the Cowtown Dragboat Nationals, to test-race a dragboat on July 11, during the racing weekend at Marine Creek Lake in Ft. Worth, Texas. (download press release)

(May 10, 2009) Patrick, Adventures on Wheels, and Miller Motorsports host wounded veterans during American Le Mans Weekend.
At the upcoming American Le Mans series race weekend at the Utah Grand Prix, Patrick Rummerfield and Miller Motorsports have teamed with the Salt Lake City VA Hospital to host four wounded soldiers and make racecars and professional drivers available to allow them to ride around the track in a once-in-a-lifetime experience, before the cheering spectators of Miller Motorsports Park.
